Well last week I started to work again. I decided to go back about 2 months ago. I thought it would be good for me to get out a little by myself and to have Scott have some personal time with Logan. So far so good. Scott seems to be enjoying spending quality time with him. It is fun to come come home to Logan and see him get excited that I am there. That of course is only if Logan is up when I get home. Last night Scott put him to bed and he stayed there the first time he put him down. Usually it takes us about 4 times until he stays asleep. I know you can do the whole "cry to sleep' thing but I can't do it. I left him cry one night for two minutes and when and got him. He has me wrapped around his little finger. Any suggestions on how to put him down early and and get him to not wake up when putting him down. I wait for him to be dead a sleep and that doesn't work. I feed him a big bottle with rice cereal before too..doesn't work. I think he will be going to bed at 10 for the rest of his life!!
He was sleeping through the night earlier this month but that ended. He now gets up around 2 or 3 and eats and then stays in our room the rest of the night. I would put him back in his crib but he wakes up when I put him down. You would think that since he is up in the middle of the night and doesn't go to bed too early that he wouldn't be a morning baby but nope. He will get up around 7 or 8 for the day. He just started to take longer naps during the day. We'll see if it turns into a routine...I sure hope so!! For some reason though he will only take long naps if I lay him face down on a pillow on our couch. WEIRD! I don't like laying him on his tummy but since I am right there I don't mind. Yesterday he slept for almost 4 hours and today for 3.

No child ever cried himself to death. Trust me...let him cry and get some sleep, it won't take longer than a night or two!!!
Have you ever heard of baby wise? It says to put him on a schedule...also, if he sleeps less during the day he might sleep longer at night. My child sleeps in her car seat, but it's all night long so I'll take it! Good luck with that. I had three that woke up, and I never let them cry it out.
Of course he's never going to sleep on his own...he has such a sweet gig going on!
That Logan is such a smartie.
