The Big Swimming Day

Fun day at uncle Roger's pool! Here is our first time swimming. He didn't cry so I figure that is a good start.
I think he looks like a little surfer model here. He is striking a pose!

Complete exhaustion. I went to change him and this is what happened. Laid him down and out he went! I love that it is an almost naked photo but he is covered up just perfectly. We didn't plan it either. So cute! Thanks for the awesome towel Cort!
Just a cute outfit with a cute smile!

First Play Date!

Logan had a friend over today. We watched our friend Issac while his mom Brandie went to get her hair done. It was a lot of fun!
Scott thinks that Logan looks like a bean pole next to Issac. Logan is 2 months older than Issac and is 6 lbs lighter.
I love this picture. It looks like two little toddlers just hanging out watching a movie.
Logan isn't sure about his sharing a crib thing. They were just in there for a min. watching the mobile go around but Logan decided that Issac was touching him too much so he wanted out!

We had the chance to go on a nice walk while Scott had a break from work. They both loved it! We played a little bit of bumper strollers during our walk!

Just a Little Bit of Fun

I don't think that this angle is too great for showing his slender side
Look I can hold my own bottle!!! Really it only lasts for about 2 seconds.
Here is what I do all day long!!

I didn't even ask for him to pose for this picture but he did anyway!
We get to hang out at dad's soccer games once in and awhile. We usually end up talking to another mom there so we don't really watch...Sorry Scotty! He plays really good though. He can't wait to teach little Logan how to play!

Back to Work!!

Well last week I started to work again. I decided to go back about 2 months ago. I thought it would be good for me to get out a little by myself and to have Scott have some personal time with Logan. So far so good. Scott seems to be enjoying spending quality time with him. It is fun to come come home to Logan and see him get excited that I am there. That of course is only if Logan is up when I get home. Last night Scott put him to bed and he stayed there the first time he put him down. Usually it takes us about 4 times until he stays asleep. I know you can do the whole "cry to sleep' thing but I can't do it. I left him cry one night for two minutes and when and got him. He has me wrapped around his little finger. Any suggestions on how to put him down early and and get him to not wake up when putting him down. I wait for him to be dead a sleep and that doesn't work. I feed him a big bottle with rice cereal before too..doesn't work. I think he will be going to bed at 10 for the rest of his life!!

He was sleeping through the night earlier this month but that ended. He now gets up around 2 or 3 and eats and then stays in our room the rest of the night. I would put him back in his crib but he wakes up when I put him down. You would think that since he is up in the middle of the night and doesn't go to bed too early that he wouldn't be a morning baby but nope. He will get up around 7 or 8 for the day. He just started to take longer naps during the day. We'll see if it turns into a routine...I sure hope so!! For some reason though he will only take long naps if I lay him face down on a pillow on our couch. WEIRD! I don't like laying him on his tummy but since I am right there I don't mind. Yesterday he slept for almost 4 hours and today for 3.

Rolling Over

Well at the beginning of this month Logan and I went to physical therapy. No not for me..thanks.. but for Logan. We are just working on getting his arms in front of him while laying on his belly and rolling over. She gave us some great exercises and they are working...YEAH!! Logan has rolled from his front to his back a million times. Now that he knows how to get off his belly it is hard to work with him on tummy time. We do a lot of side playing so that he can work on rolling from his back to his front. We'll see how long that takes!!

He is being really fun lately. He laughs at things a lot. I think that him and the dogs have inside jokes sometimes because the dogs will do something bad and Logan will laugh at them. Maybe he is telling them to be bad stuff. Who knows. He also likes to be the loudest baby at a bf support group I go to. He will stand up and make a loud noise so that I will put my hand over his mouth to make him sound like an Indian. He loves it. Everyone at class knows who it is the second he starts up. I am thinking that he is going to be the class clown....the total opposite of his parents. His other favorite thing to do is to watch a DVD called Baby Mozart. I used to watch it all the time with Malaea when she was a baby so thought I'd try it with Logan and I am so glad that I did. It is fun to watch him laugh at the different animals and things all by himself.
