Happy Father's Day Scotty!! Logan and Scott from birth-6 1/2 Months.

Scott has been a great father from the day we knew we were pregnant until now..with 7 month old Logan! I can't say enough about Scotty and how great of a dad and husband he is. Logan doesn't even know what he has in store for him having a dad like Scott. Logan just LOVES his dad. When he holds him Logan just smiles and makes a little laugh like he is getting away with something by having his dad hold him. I am sure that one day that will be the case! Scott is always playing with Logan and teaching him things. He just loves being a dad and I am so grateful for that. I couldn't ask for a better guy to be the father of my children and my husband. He not only is working while at home but helping me with almost anything I need. He never seems to think twice to help with Logan. Plus he is not only taking care of Logan and myself he is the best dad to our two crazy dogs as well. I love him dearly and hope he knows how much I appreciate not only what he does but who he is. He is my security in life and I love him dearly. Happy Father's Day Scotty!

Logan Update!

No pictures for now. My camera is broke so until we get a new one I won't have any pictures.

Just thought I would give you all a quick update on what Logan has been up too. We went to his six month check up about 2 weeks ago and all is well. He is still on the small side for weight and height but the doctor says he is just fine. He is in the 2o% for height and weight and 40% for head circumference. He has improved a lot since his last doctors appointment with his development. He is now rolling over like crazy and is getting ready to crawl. He gets so frustrated because he wants to be mobile all by himself but can't. He is starting to put his butt in the air and sometimes gets up on all fours with a little assistance and holds it for about 30 seconds. He is in the stage where he doesn't want to be held or put down because when he is down he can't move around so he is quite the fuss pants these days. Scott and I are so excited for this next step of crawling. He is going to be so crazy with our dogs. He just loves them to death. He sometimes will laugh so hard when the dogs are play fighting with each other. I love watching him watch them. He is also starting to sit up on his own. He still falls to the side once and a while but he is doing really well.

He is eating like crazy. We are now feeding him two jars of baby food for lunch and dinner plus bottles. He is a crazy eater! He still wants it shoveled into his mouth and when he is full instead of just shutting his mouth he just cries and opens his mouth for more!!

The water is now becoming one of his favorite things. Usually he gets a bath after we eat cause he is so messy so he starting to really get used to the water. We decided it was time to move him out of his baby tub and into the big tub. He loves it. He lays on his back and splashes with his legs and arms like crazy. He likes to kick and then freeze with his right like up in the air and then he'll start kicking again. I don't know why but he thinks its so funny. Hopefully when we get a working camera again I will video it a little bit for you all to see!

Potty time!!

So I know that Logan is only 6 months old but sometimes he likes to stand over the big boy toilet and go potty. He is pretty good at it too, other than over shooting most of the time. Then I have to do some cleaning.

Well the other day we were doing just that when we had a little surprise! His feet were on the
seat and he was concentrating really hard to go and finally he went. It wasn't a normal one though. There was no over shooting just some trickles but I thought, "hey at least he went!". I yelled to Scott, "Guess who went potty in the big boy potty?!!". Scott asked what do we do when he has to go number two. I just said that I can't tell when he needs to do that so we will just have to figure that out with time. So we proceeded to go get dressed when I heard Scott say, "What is this poop on the ground?". WHAT!! I went to look and right in between where my feet were standing there was a little mound of Logan's poop! I guess this is why when they are little boys they SIT on the the little kid potty not stand! Well we had a good laugh!
